Ponta

Matt and Tim carved out six weeks here in southern Africa and I took full advantage by packing our schedule with activities.
We relaxed in Maputo for two full days after returning home from the Botswana trip, resetting gear during the day and sleeping in an actual bed at night.
Last winter I went diving with sharks and it blew my mind. I wanted to share this experience with my brothers, so we took off down to Ponta for a couple of nights.

The first day of diving, we all jumped in but didn't see much. Low visibility and the off-season for sharks meant the odds were against us in the first place. The following day, Matt and I returned to the sea and Tim stayed back to snap some photos. Alas, no sharks were seen.

The water was cold, but that's okay. There is nothing better than being in the water. Outside problems don't seem to exist in the ocean.

We camped around the corner at the top of a hill with great views. On our final morning, we woke up for the sunrise before heading back to Maputo. Time to pick up Moriah!
