Before I left Qingdao I made my rounds to say goodbye to all my main vendors. This is where I bought my vegetables and eggs. I liked the sense of community in the area. There were situations where my vendors would recommend something in-season, or throw in extra garlic or something. It was nice when I'd forget my money at home, they'd smile and let me on my way, knowing I'll pay them back later.
